Chocolate-Covered Prunes: Clarifying Your Intent


Driving to Oroville, a five-hour inland trek from the California coast, I was hot, sweaty and creased to the car seat. As I neared my destination, I passed a sign posted outside a shack that read, Chocolate-covered prunes. I broke up. This is an oxymoron!

Prunes are a biological green light. Chocolate is a red light. Eating the two together is a mixed blessing, likely to create a traffic jam in your intestines.

How many of us do this with our own health? Or relationships, business, finances — you fill in the blank. Perhaps you covet a certain plum account, person, dream house — then self-sabotage by "mixing it" with an action that aborts the flow. READ MORE

No More Countin' Dollars...


If 60 is the new 40 and green the new black, barter is the new money. And barter's creative potential is unlimited.


As our planetary upgrade quickens, we're all being challenged to think outside our brains. Radically rewiring our thought processes is the keynote of a rapidly evolving world. Just as we can choose to seek guidance from a spiritual guru — or, as I like to say, "dial direct" — the same holds true for other life transactions. Money is a middleman, and while we're far from being able to barter all of our basic needs, one day our forms of energy exchange will transcend the currency that currently rules our lives and livelihood. READ MORE

Are Your Wells Low? Have Faith: Help IS On the Way!

Several years ago, when my own wells were full and a friend was struggling financially, I invited him over for dinner, placing a $50 bill in a holiday gift envelope under his plate. When he saw it, he said, "Oh, I can't accept this!" And I replied, unconcerned about repayment yet with absolute certainty, "Spirit will give it back to me!"

Two days later there was a long envelope in my mailbox from a chiropractor friend, who had never sent me snail mail before. Figuring it was an announcement of some kind about her practice, I opened the letter to read a heartfelt thank-you for my newsletter all these years — accompanied by a donation check for $50.
