This is the sacred Winter Solstice chant Caroline Casey included in her mythological trickster-redeemer  sharing on Tuesday night at Earthrise Retreat Center in Petaluma, CA. Situated in verdant silence far above the freeway, with a full Gemini moon casting a luminous spell, we drank deeply of the darkness with a fervent urgency. 

"Ecstatic," Caroline reminds us, literally means, to stand outside ("ex" + "stasis") — which is what those of us called to midwife this transitional time on the planet feel, to the marrow. Embodying the sacred means returning from the Otherworld with wisdom gained. "To love disharmony back into harmony creates a greater harmony than existed before," according to author Michael Gruber.

What will YOU give to the night? The old way (but not the Old Ways!), the one right answer, outmoded beliefs and behaviors, fear of the unknown? Whatever it is, toss it into the cauldron and affirm, "xxxx is gone with the night!"

Power Play

It's US Election Day, and as people feverishly rush to the polls, bear signs and banners endorsing their cause or candidate, and generally enjoy the political frenzy that is November 6, 2012, I'm pondering the nature of true power. A week ago the East coast was decimated by what the media labeled a "Super Storm," a politically correct way of referring to a hurricane that flooded New York City, closing the NY Stock Exchange for two consecutive days — the first time this has occurred in 124 years! — and causing severe damage and massive power outages throughout the Eastern seaboard and beyond. My family in New Jersey was without power for five days.

Hm. I've long resonated to the number 5, the great transformer, which configures a star. 2012 is replete with "5" energy: (2+0+1+2 = 5). It's the numerical symbol for action and freedom, appearing in starfish and flowers with a regenerative geometry: the flower of every edible fruit is five-petaled. The Greeks called the fifth element quinta essentia, the pure and concentrated essence, or invisible connector that allows earth, fire, water and air to communicate.

Clearly, it's time to reconsider the nature of power. Nature's power trumps humans'; the election dwindled to less than insignificance when lives hung in the balance. I'd venture to say that in the hardest hit areas, who wins the White House is still not top-of-mind right now.

Yet we have the potential to embrace and embody true power as the ancients conceived it: not as offices and badges and bank accounts, but as the energy that can heal and unite. Consider (literally, "with the stars") the following:

Sound and light describe the Universe (Uni-verse: "One Song"). Everything vibrates at varying rates of speed. Based on more than two decades of research, engineer and craftsman Chris Dunn posits that the Great Pyramid of Giza, Egypt was actually a gigantic acoustical device. The Egyptians, he believes, married music and science to create a natural power plant — the Pyramids — by attuning to Earth frequencies and utilizing these vibrations as their energy source. The ancients used their advanced knowledge of consciousness and harmonics to develop a source of energy that operated on both spiritual and material principles, transducing the Earth's natural vibration (via strategically placed quartz crystals, which are alchemical energy modifiers) into clean, plentiful energy.

Does this seem fantastic? Consider that we've all heard of opera singers who can shatter glass by hitting a certain pitch. Early in the 20th century, physicist Nikola Tesla almost destroyed a building in which he was working by turning up the amplification on his oscillation machine. The building began to vibrate as if an earthquake had hit, and it was only by smashing the machine that he averted reducing a granite edifice to rubble.

We feel this same sympathetic harmony inside ourselves when we "vibrate" to another's emotional state. Fear, anger and hate lower the rate of vibration; love, joy and laughter raise it.

Thus, the living Earth can be the source of our true power — if we're willing to channel the higher frequencies that support this advanced technology. It is possible; we're activating our potential more cleanly than ever before in this quantum moment, as all indigenous prophecies and global spiritual leaders affirm.

Considering our current state of energy depletion, individually and collectively, this awareness, and what it portends for us now, is, well — powerful! True power means "able to be," to exist in a state of pure harmony. It's less about being president than setting precedent, and being present, being the gift of who we are to and for one another. That's true power, an infinitely renewable resource.

Day Out of Time — Forgive Debt, Celebrate Possibility!

How intriguing that Obama says we are "out of time" when it comes to the economy and debt relief. He's absolutely correct, albeit on a meta-level he's not consciously aware of:

Monday, July 25th, heralds the annual "Day Out of Time" on the Thirteen Moon/28-day Calendar — a calendar on which every Friday is a lucky Friday the 13th! Breaking old paradigms and belief systems, the Thirteen Moon Calendar is aligned with natural rhythms and human biology, enabling us to access fourth dimensional frequencies by reciting each day's "energy signature". These daily affirmations (260 in all, referred to as "kin") work on an intuitive level.

What, then, is the Day Out of Time (also known as Green Day)? Here's a summary from the Foundation for the Law of Time.

Around the planet, this day is reserved for festival and community. Central focuses are: Planetary Peace through Culture, 'Time Is Art!', forgiveness, atonement, freeing of debts, purification, and the Art of Peace.

Celebrated annually since 1992, the Day Out of Time always falls on July 25th. On the Thirteen Moon Calendar, this day is not a day of the month. It is a day in between the closing of the previous year (July 24th) and the dawning of the new year on July 26th. The official flag for the Day Out of Time is the Banner of Peace.

The Day Out of Time is a day to celebrate "Time Is Art". This is what hundreds of thousands of people who follow the new calendar do every year on Gregorian calendar July 25th. And since art is the basis of constructive peace, this day is also celebrated as International Peace through Culture Day. Peace through culture is a fundamental premise of the Thirteen Moon/28-day Calendar. When you celebrate time is art you are promoting peace through culture.

On this Day Out of Time, we can join kin around the world in deepening our commitment to the truth that Time is Art, and that we can free ourselves from the oppression and confusion of the frequency of mechanized time. As we liberate ourselves from its distortions, we are awakening from the 5000-year spell of his-story, re-membering (making membership again) our connection to the galactic time magic residing in every human heart. And from this connection, true prosperity can flower.

In this time of reinventing resources (and expanding our resource-full-ness), Caroline Casey says of the U.S. economic crisis, "All debts are off!" And Jaison Starkes agrees: "Debts are an agreement on an old story."

The Law of Time site says: "Give the human a harmonious standard of measure and then a harmonious human will walk a harmonious mile.

Harmony ~ that's what the day of time is all about."

Miss California: Harmony or Honesty?

Miss California supposedly lost out on the Miss USA title because she answered a controversial question with her personal truth. She was asked if she thought all states should legalize gay marriage, and responded, "I think marriage should be between a man and a woman ~ no offense to anybody."

Her response was honest and pulled no punches. She even clarified that her personal opinion was not meant as an affront. Yet some TV commentators ~ and Miss California herself ~ believe it cost her the crown.

We're living in tremendously arduous times, as the illusion of duality deliquesces at Light speed ~ and hitting a lot of speed bumps along the way. So what do you think? If you must choose between agreement and honesty, which way would you go? Bear in mind that the latter path is what has led to war for millennia ~ perhaps not so much because people speak their truth, as that they take exception to any who disagree with them: "My way or the highway."

Yet what's the true cost of false consensus? As I discuss on my CD of the transformational journey, What You Need to Know Now, your own vitality slowly drains away if you consistently cover up your essence, day after day after day. False harmony smolders beneath the surface and eventually breaks through as anger or even rage.

Why Winter Solstice 2008 is Significant

Patti Cota Robles has written a vital Solstice message. It's not posted to her website, so I am reprinting it below in its entirety. While most of us realize we are in the midst of an intense purge/purification period, Patti illuminates this particular moment with great clarity and faith.


"The Winter Solstice is considered one of the most powerful times of the year by many cultures around the world. In the Northern Hemisphere this celestial event usually occurs on December 21st. The timing of the solstice this year will be Sunday, December 21, at 7:04 a.m. EST, 4:04 a.m. PST, or 12:04 p.m. Universal Time.

The Winter Solstice is the longest night of the year, and it heralds the initial impulse of the annual return of the Sun, the Light, to the Earth. This year the spiritual effects of the Solstice will be more powerful than ever before. This is due to the incredible influx of Light that is pouring into the planet through the heartfelt pleas of people everywhere.

Humanity is experiencing the most intensified purging of the economic system, and the various other social structures that do not operate with a consciousness of the highest good for all concerned, that we have ever endured. This is a necessary cleansing that is paving the way for the physical manifestation of the patterns of perfection for the New Earth. The difficult part of this process is that the masses of Humanity do not see the bigger picture. Millions of people see only the painful situations that are happening in their lives. As a result of this limited perception, they feel overwhelmed and hopeless. This is very hard to observe, but it is not all bad.

After our fall from Grace aeons ago, we became so numb to the discord in our lives that we just muddled through our Earthly experiences accepting mediocrity as a natural state of being. We fell into the terrible habit of using pain as our motivator. Unless we were writhing in agony, we did not feel that it would help to take action or to ask for assistance from our Father-Mother God. For millions of people on Earth, prayer and an invocation for Light from our God Parents occurs only when they are brought to their knees by their life situations. This is exactly what is happening at this time for millions of people all over the world.

The Company of Heaven is revealing to us now that more people than ever before are reaching a critical moment in their life experiences. Consequently, millions of people are asking God for Divine Intervention. Many of them are praying for the very first time. This powerful event, in unison with the millions of Lightworkers who daily invoke the Light of God, has created the greatest influx of Light the Earth has ever experienced during a Winter Solstice. This Heavenly assistance will greatly empower the patterns of perfection for the New Earth, and it will accelerate our individual hopes and dreams by leaps and bounds.

Beginning now, and continuing for the next 72 hours, focus intently on the vision of what you want to manifest in your life and the lives of your loved ones. Focus on your visions for the New Earth and the harmony and balance you wish for all Humanity. This is a rare opportunity, and we are being called to action by our God Selves — our I AM Presence — and the Company of Heaven. Be sure your visions and your intentions always reflect our Oneness and the Reverence of ALL Life.

This event will pave the way for a God Victorious New Year. 2009 is going to be a year of miraculous changes. These changes have been in the works for quite some time, and now we are going to experience them tangibly in the world of form. These changes will not happen by chance. They will occur through the unified efforts of Lightworkers all over the world and the Company of Heaven.

I know there are a lot of dire predictions regarding the global economy and the challenges Humanity is going through, but we are not the victims of circumstance. We are the cocreators of our Earthly experiences. If we do not like the way things are going in our lives, we have the ability to change our circumstances. This is what we have been preparing for aeons to accomplish — and now is the time.

As the Hopi prophecy states: 'We are the ones we have been waiting for.'

2009 numerically is an 11 year. Eleven is the master number that reflects the transformation of the physical into the Divine. The archetypes for the patterns of perfection for the New Earth were securely anchored into the physical plane in August 2008. In 2009, through our creative faculties of thought and feeling, we will expand these patterns into our daily experiences.

The purging and cleansing of the obsolete behavior patterns that have caused the maladies existing in Humanity’s lives will continue. But the wonderful news is, as these old archetypes crumble away, the expansion of the patterns of perfection for the New Earth will begin to manifest in ways that will bring joy, fulfillment and great expectations into the hearts and minds of people everywhere.

There is a new sense of hope flooding through the hearts of people around the world. Humanity’s hope is magnetizing Legions of Light from the Realms of Perfection into the atmosphere of Earth in ways we have never experienced. The Divine Intent of these Messengers of God is to assist Humanity to move quickly through the cleansing process so that the bliss of the New Earth will manifest in the twinkling of an eye.

2009 is going to be whatever we cocreate together. Do not let this opportunity pass you by."
