Buy a Toaster - Get a Free Bank!

I love channeled messages, because the best ones almost always contain a deep sense of humor that showcases just how amusing life on Earth really is ~ or could be.

This transmission from The Reconnections through Daniel Jacob, The Economics of Oneness, contains a take-off on banks' practice of offering new customers a minor appliance for opening an account: an FDIC "Super Coupon Savings," that entitles customers who buy a toaster to select the financial institution of their choice, complete with clip out coupons for all the major "brands"!

Further down, The Reconnections repeat the cogent point that where we put our attention is what we create:

"The Economics of Oneness is solidly built upon one precious commodity: FOCUS OF ATTENTION

Your focus of attention is the most valuable investment you can ever pay to someone or something. It is the greatest gift you can give. And it yields the greatest INTEREST than any money market account could hope to provide! This is so, whether the object in focus is a member of royalty, a baby in a carriage, or a bum on the street.

Those who truly learn how to pay proper attention will eventually be required to pay little else.

"The ability to truly listen ... and to HEAR ... is in such rare commodity these days that people will fork over almost anything to someone who does it right — someone who carries no other agenda than to be, and quietly let the world play itself out ... just as it is.

"A life of FOCUSED ATTENTION is a treasure trove unto itself. It costs very little, yet it pays tremendous much! Nowadays, it is DISTRACTIONS that eat up all your time and funds: drugs to medicate you, foods to sedate you, possessions to comfort you, and friends to convince you that you're not alone. He or she who heeds these words, and puts them into practice, now moves from darkness into light ... from bondage into freedom ... IMMEDIATELY, and with great joy!"

The Mosquitoes of Life

Been feeling a little on edge (or off the edge) lately? I certainly have. The night before the lunar eclipse of 8/16, I discovered that the ideal camper van I've sought for months (and driven hundreds of miles questing) had been available right under my nose, and sold for a fraction of its worth, that day. I cried tears of frustration, since it's only the latest manifestation of a pattern I'm well ready to release.

What a relief to learn this episode wasn't "just" about being unable to handle "life": In her latest alert, Karen Bishop reminds us, "If you are one who is unusually sensitive and connects easily, you may have experienced the lunar eclipse on August 16th with confusing feelings of low self worth, perhaps self-loathing, and even guilt for no apparent reason. You may have felt just plain icky and you did not know why. Suddenly feeling bad about ourselves for no apparent reason is simply a manifestation of the lunar eclipse supporting us in going deep within and seeing the denser aspects of who we are."

And Daniel Jacob plays off a similar theme in his current post, Perfect!, in which he discusses the perfectly normal response of rage when we've reached the end of our rope due to the "mosquitoes of life", the little annoyances that can finally push us over the edge to where we just have to vent the frustration. He also talks about allowing rage to morph into sage. Worth the read ... check it out.

And may you enjoy the return of equanimity as we surge towards balance and the new in September!

Becoming Invisible

I've always been fascinated by the idea of being invisible. From the cloaking device employed by the Star Trek Enterprise to the Invisibility Cloak given to Harry Potter by Dumbledore, I'm enchanted by the idea of being able to slip into places unseen, for edification, transformation, or just plain fun.

Reconnections channel Daniel Jacob says this isn't such a farfetched concept for those of us willing to begin exploring alternative modes of reality and transport. His article, Invisibility is both instructive and inspirational.

Now that our pair of August eclipses has shown us what needed to be seen and helped us eclipse the shadow side that no longer serves our highest good, it's easier to enLighten up and travel in other dimensions, seen and unseen.

I look forward to not seeing you somewhere soon! ;-)

It's a G.A.S. - G.A.S. - G.A.S.!

The title of this post doesn't refer to the refrain from the Rolling Stones' "Jumpin' Jack Flash," but rather to what we're experiencing now: Global Acceleration Syndrome, nicknamed G.A.S. by Reconnections channel Daniel Jacob.

It's a planetary birth process, something I've been writing about for many years (see my ebook series, What Shines: Practical Wisdom for Unleashing Your Inner Brilliance, a compendium of multidimensional guidance with hands-on application for your life now. There's a special FREE bonus offered with the purchase of books 2 & 3 throughout the month of June!)

G.A.S. Symptom Summary:

∞ Insomnia
∞ Spacey-ness
∞ Joint and muscle aches and pains
∞ Fatigue
∞ Depression and/or anxiety
∞ Allergies and immune system challenges
∞ Short-term memory loss
∞ Unexplained weight gain
∞ Pain at the back of the neck

Some of Daniel's suggestions for managing the shift (with helpful links):

• "It's all PERFECT"
• "It's all ME"
• "It's all REAL"
• "It's all NOW"

And I'd add, "It's all RIGHT!!"

Shine On, Beloveds ...
